"Always wonderful coffee (quite strong), served with a smile. On this occasion I just had coffee, but I know from past experience that the blueberry and lemon bakewell slices are sensational, and the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels are good, too. A great haven in a slightly quieter but still handy part of the town. And the WiFi works!"

"Wonderful. Everything was wonderful. An independent eatery with a chef that cares about his ingredients and contours up a perfectly proportioned meal. Melt-in-the-mouth lamb, beef that fell apart at the thought of a knife coming close. Flavorsome food that you don 't mind 'forking ' out for. We enjoyed the smoked haddock and salmon fish cakes beautifully crispy exterior when cut open oozed a smokey aroma, the smooth paté with an equally smooth flavor followed by the tender beef and to-die-for lamb. Thank you for the attentive but not oppressive service. We 'll return to try another flavorful meal asap."

"A beautiful Italian restaurant. we went to Christmas Eve and during the place was tragically quiet (then covid! the food was delicious and the service was perfect. also the Christmas crackers were very high quality. I had the chicken parma that was a much higher quality chicken breast than the usual carving on which many places to support it."

"Dine in with friends. The seafood spaghetti and the cod with crab are tasty. However, the service is really bad. -The waiter pour the wine out and made table and pram were wet. -We’ve checked several times with waiters about the main course status because our friends are almost finished their meals) but no any response. Just said they will check but no any update from them. -We waiting for the sides until we finished the main course. We asked 3 times with different waiters and no any response from them until the last asking. The lady said they’ve combined our sides to other friends’ portion. It’s ridiculous. No one tell us that they will combined the sides! And we waited for long time for such stupid things. -Wrong billing I’m so disappointed with the mess services. Will not go again. Response to restaurants reply: It’s shame. May be my reviews make you feeling not good. BUT all my reviews are true! Yes, we booked a table for 12 people but 4 kids and 1 baby included. Thus, we ordered 7 main courses with starters desserts for 7 adults and 1 kids meal and wine. I’m feeling sorry for 2 kids running around our table and we did stopped them once you told us. And I appreciated the lady with black clothes who helping us carried the pram upstairs. She was very kind and helpful. However, the staff who mainly serving our table was not very good. She pour the wine out on the table and the baby pram when she collecting the empty wine cup. For the wrong billing Yes, the first bill was £191 that’s lower then the actual bill. We found it wrong and reported it to restaurant even it’s lower price because that’s not what we ordered. And the 2nd bill was wrong again which was overcharged until the 3rd bill. Actually, not only the mess dish arrangement, one of the main course was not correct but we tried to make it simply and just finished it without any complaints. For the dish arrangement and no any updates response from the staff after we asked, really disappointed. What I feeling? I’m wasted my time for waiting because of the poor arrangement. I keep waiting and asking and get no response whole night. And my kid and I feeling very hungry. Because I still waiting my main course and the side. I was wait for whole dinner, my friends almost finished their meals but I’m still waiting. No any reply after asking, just said they will check until our last asking. Throughout the meal no one asked if the food was ok. Made us feel unwelcome. If anyone asked, may be the things will not become that bad."
