What Imogen Matthews doesn't like about Japanese Steak House:
My first visit and I enjoyed the food. The chef was friendly as were other service members. The rates were very reasonable. Went with friend and wife we all enjoyed the evening there. One big negative, we were ushered to the back of the restaurant all blacks were seated in the back, all whites were in the front. Maybe coincidence I'll visit again and see what happens. read more.

"The Pesto Cesar Salad may be one of the tastiest salads I've ever had!With that being said, I was really disappointed in the customer service. "Came here for the first time with my wife for date night. The food was amazing, I had the pita bowl with chicken and it was delicious. My wife ordered the fires bowl, the gentleman behind the counter said the always make fresh fries, and dropped a batch for her order. Had I known all of this I would have ordered the same, because hers tasted better than mine. This place is amazing and taste great!"

"Today is Tuesday, July 16 3 PM. This is my first time at the New Albany location since I normally go to the one at Bridge Park which I love…but today I was met with unfriendly staff no smiles, no greetings, regretfully I left a tip, I was served cold coffee, asked for it to be microwaved, we don’t do that, she did offer to make a fresh pot, bagel served with out cream cheese as ordered, back to the counter for a third time for a napkin. Overall of the staff needs to make some improvements.I do not like to reward bad service!"
