"Good food. Huge portions. Two people can easily share a meal. Good service. Appropriate prices for what you get. Our only complaint is that in most cases the tables are very close to each other (the chairs are one foot or two away from the next chair). Not a great place to go when you worry about social distancing. The staff wears masks, but some carry them under the noses. In normal times, it would not be so much a problem. Total good place. Maybe we wait till it's less busy."

"Porters has been our Go To restaurant for years when we visit the area. Unfortunately, last night was not good. The bright point was our server, Devin, he was awesome. That said much our meal was sub-par. There was 6 of us. Bill was $528- plus @120 tip. Wife n I split a wedge salad and the 10 oz pepperloin with carrots and add on baked potato. The wedge had no blue cheese crumbles and a few bacon bits. Ok not great. Instead of a 10 pepperloin we were served three fillet medallions with no cracked pepper. Not even close to the 2” thick steak we were expecting. And the baked potato was Luke warm. Of our guests only the scallops were rated very good. The restaurant was less than 1/2 full at 7 on a Friday. Perhaps the locals have discover what we did. The once great restaurant has slipped in its food quality but prices remain at 5 star levels. We most likely will not be returning on our visit in Thanksgiving"

"This is an awesome local bar. The food is great! I love the fried tacos on Tuesday, and the sweet chili wings on Saturday. We just don't get there too often on Saturday so I wish those were all the time. The bartenders are awesome and the drinks are strong. Great atmosphere and outdoor area when its warm. All around great spot."

"This place is an experience. We knew we were some place special from the moment we walked in. We were lucky to have Charles as our waiter. He was attentive, entertaining, and a true part of the history of Mungo's. Some of the best toasted ravioli we have ever had. The house salad is unique and very delicious. We would definitely recommend the lasagna, tortellini, or three-way pasta, all were exceptional. Everyone needed a box for leftovers and while we didn't think we had room for dessert, it was my wife's birthday and they provided complimentary cheesecake, which we all shared, and it was fantastic!. Tony, the owner of mungo's, even stopped by our table personally to check on our experience. This is a first class experience that you do not want to miss."
