Being generally disappointed with the accomodation at this resort, we did not have high expectations with the restaurant. The danger with 'resorts' is that you are always a captive market and the ability of the business to rip you off.NOT so here.Not much ambience here as it has a pub flavour and very barn like. The only thing going for this restaurant is the view, and they don't have to do anything. The menu was minimal, and the food was underwhelming. We needed a lot of salt and pepper to bring it up. They charge as they believe they are a high-end restaurant, but then you sit at a table with bird poo and can't tell if it ever cleaned with no service, and the inside is still like the day it was built. We had a lovely night in a most beautiful setting. The staff were attentive and dinner was awesome!! The wine was fabulous!!
