Contribute FeedbackCooper's Hawk had a mixed experience on New Year's Eve, with some diners facing long wait times and a lack of ambiance, while others enjoyed delicious food and good service. The restaurant seemed busy and some guests felt the service was rushed, while others praised the attentive staff. Some diners noted that the portion sizes were smaller for the price, and there were some issues with lighting and ventilation. Despite these issues, many diners still enjoyed their meals and expressed a desire to return. Overall, Cooper's Hawk received a range of reviews, with some patrons having a great experience and others facing challenges during their visit.
The food and drinks were excellent, but I think the menu could use some expansion. It would be great to see more options that cater to weight-conscious diners, as there aren’t many available right now. On a positive note, I really loved the Classic Plymouth parked out front!
Bar Louie has a great atmosphere. Upon entering, the hostess was very attentive and seated us promptly. Their menu is solid, with a nice variety of cocktails to choose from—I went with the Cadillac Margarita. I came here with a group of friends for an early dinner, and the place wasn’t too crowded, which I appreciated. I ordered a burger, and it was cooked to perfection. There are plenty of seating options outside, and if you prefer indoor seating, the layout offers ample space. The bar area also has a good amount of seating. For me, this spot is more about the relaxed vibe, perfect for catching up with friends and having a good time. It's also convenient for grabbing a bite before or after a movie, as the theater is right next door.
The dining experience was exceptional, paired with outstanding service. The prices are also very reasonable.
This was our first experience dining outdoors, and I'm not sure if we'll do it again. While the food was, as always, quite good, the portion sizes seemed significantly smaller, and the prices have increased. Unfortunately, the fans weren’t directed at us, although there were some behind us. When we asked our server about it, we were told they were broken, which was disappointing since we expected better airflow. Additionally, the lights flickered on and off at least four times, which was a bit strange. Although the extra lighting was nice, it would turn off just as we got used to it. On a positive note, our server was very friendly and attentive.
The cheeseburger was overly salty, and the waiting staff in the adjacent hall was quite loud. I requested some peace and quiet, but my request was ignored. Overall, it was a rather unpleasant experience.
