"Had a wonderful birthday dinner here on Sunday for my dad. Michael and the team at Flores and Pine went way above and beyond to make the night memorable and make us all feel special. From birthday cake for the birthday boy, learning a little history about the place, to tending to our every need and request, there was so much effort put into making our night truly special. This effort did not go unnoticed or appreciated. Also, the food was wonderful! I had the half chicken and the portion was very healthy and flavor was great. I highly recommend Flores and Pine."

"The ice itself is pretty good. a little less dense than my preference, but still quite good. I love how different and unusual the aromen are. there is something about unusual flavors that makes it seem more exciting than dairy queen or something. the line up when we went was quite long (which is understandable for how popular the place is) so if they are impatient or have small children with them, I think they are better off to get a bucket from sobeys. love that they only get it in food business, so if they are in calgary, they don't have to drive into cochrane."

"On Friday October 13th, my girlfriend and I made a reservation for dinner at the Fence and Post for 515pm.When we came in we were greeted and directed to a table in an otherwise empty restaurant (I think there were 4 other people not including staff there at the time) right in front of the kitchen. This was obviously disappointing and we did change tables but it seemed like the disappointment was only beginning.In excited preparation for dinner here we had researched the menu, I ordered the Osso Buco and my girlfriend ordered the Rustic Pasta w/shrimp.The Osso Buco was tough, cold and without any flavour. It was clearly pre-cooked and reheated and not enjoyable whatsoever.The rustic pasta had no taste, small portion size and required a significant amount of salt (we even added the Ratatouille to it to give it some amount of flavour. The garlic was nowhere to be found or tasted.We only had one glass of wine with the meal and with our mandatory gratuity (the service was acceptable) came to nearly $200. I cannot believe that such prices would be charged for heated up leftovers prepared by (visibly) inexperienced kitchen staff. These prices are more reflective of a restaurant that cares about their customers ' food and would not serve them that garbage for $200."
