"My wife and I had the pleasure to eat with a German professor at the coburg university in this beautiful and historical restaurant called restaurant golden crosses (medium sea, golden cross). we have learned that this is one of the best in Germany. the restaurant founded in 1508 is the oldest building in the inner city of coburg. it serves the authentic taste of the regional Franconian cuisine. “Traditional. modern. Franconian” is his motto. the dishes we had were one of the best Franconian cuisine we ever tasted. the dessert “Home-made coburg Dumpling” was delicious and unique. if they ever get a chance to eat there, they will enjoy for certain their historical atmosphere of Franconian tradition.
