Bistro Engels - Cluj-Napoca

We've been here so often in the last six years. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The menu is huge. Very good value for money. I definitely recommend!

The staff of Engels are probably the most unexpirienced, rude, disrespectful people i have ever ecountered. The place is ok and average, If you go there you will probably wait at least 20 min to get a menu even if the place is empty. They act as if you are the reason they have to live their sad life. I dont really know if i should translate this text in romanian because the staff at engels barely understands their own language, i wouldn’t dream they would understand a word in english. I strongly think about making a complaint at OPC as i just lost one hour of my life being there.

It was really strange for me to see such a bad review here and a 4.1 on another card app; my opinion is this place is great; first I have in the late evening restaurant (kitchen open until 22:00) and the Babgulyas and the Pork Ribs were really delicious, portion size was on the big row, good service, low waiting time, I also took an orange fresh and a lemon; when I tried breakfast at 8:30, very nice surprising atmosphere.

The food is generally good, but the staff is usually unqualified in most locations. They are rude and forget orders. I was just with a manager of Engels who has no ounce of fines or customer service in her. She was very rude and had no patience. @Engels Management PLEASE takes more attention on how your staff treats customers. Some customer service and general sense trainings would be much advised and needed. I haven't seen a smile or a real welcome from your employees. Don't feel welcome. The food is quite large, it would be a shame to lose the customers because of ugly, legitimate, shameless employees. I hope it will change soon! This applies to all Engels restaurants in Cluj

This restaurant's staff is the most rude, grumpy, disrespectful staff i have ever seen in my life. The food is ok but average, not bad but not good and even if they would have the best food in town i would't come back because of the uneducated, poor/slow minded staff.
