Let me preface this by saying, the food here is always great. I always get exactly what I ask for every single time. I love eating here. However. When I was served by Kevin he made a comment which I found to be inappropriate. I don’t think any customer has to be questioned on how much food they want to eat. What S dislikes about Allwood Diner:
We usually go in to Allwood Diner for family breakfast and everything from service, food and ambiance is decent very old school, lots of elderly. Last time we went, I wanted to try something new and went for AVOCADO TOAST BIG MISTAKE…what came out was literally a couple pieces of diced avocado on toast not even mashed, no lime, nothing like what was described in the menu. A solid, dependable NJ diner. Delicious food, excellent service. Gyros, mozzarella sticks, French onion soup, chicken with rice soup, pasta...you can't go wrong. Haven't tried the breakfast offerings yet but it's just a matter of time.
The food was great. They gave a large proportion of food for a good price. I absolutely will be coming back.
Four of us went to the Diner on my Birthday and the experience was great. The meals, as well as the service were good. The staffers who served us were courteous, pleasant and supportive. It was truly a great evening at the Diner. .

And yes I did eat all of it and didn’t have to take a box home. Please refrain from saying stuff like that to your tables, Thank you.
The meals are big and the price is quite good. I definitely recommend it, but the tables are very close so we can't eat comfortably. Other than that, there is no problem, there are even sugar-free desserts
