Having walked around to the lighthouse in the beautiful sunshine I decided to stop at the cafe for tea & cake, I was asked to take a seat & staff would take my... read more Having walked around to the lighthouse in the beautiful sunshine I decided to stop at the cafe for tea & cake, I was asked to take a seat & staff would take my order, reading the menu it said to order at counter, I went to order & my seat was taken by another customer, then I sat at another table the 1st seat in dining area a staff member told me I could not sit there,then went out & sat in another table to which twice a meal was bought over to me which I hadn't ordered, the staff were very lost! Not a friendly restaurant.

We booked for Sunday lunch for a family celebration and were given a table with a magnificent view of Moreton Bay.Out of the 8 meals we ordered, one was not up... read more We booked for Sunday lunch for a family celebration and were given a table with a magnificent view of Moreton Bay.Out of the 8 meals we ordered, one was not up to standard.The waiter, Dylan, handled the situation like a true professional. He was genuinely interested in why the meal was not good and apologised instantly. After asking exactly what was wrong with the meal he offered a replacement and thanked us for our feedback. Amazing! He deserves a pay rise as he 'gets' customer service.This situation could have been really good or really bad depending on the reaction of the staff. I'm happy to report the entire lunch as a lovely experience, as all other meals were impeccable.We've been to this restaurant numerous times and will happily return.Well done, Dylan!

From the canapés & drinks on the lawn overlooking the bay to the scrumptious 2 course meal on the verandah, it was a perfect way to celebrate a special milestone. The staff were all very pleasant & courteous & nothing was a problem. All in all a very pleasant experience for everyone especially the Birthday Girl!

Nice to not have to pay for an expensive meal and get the option of the take away section also. A fantastic spot when it's a nice day being right on the water. Park across the road for the kids. A lovely afternoon out. Would do this over and over again.
