It seemed a bit imperson... read more It had been a while since my last visit to a Hog's Breath café, and I was surprised to see that they now use touchscreens for ordering. It seemed a bit impersonal to me, but luckily my young friend knew how to use it and helped us place our orders. I decided to try the lunch special bark pack with curly fries, which was a good value for the price. My wife ordered the whistle and curly fries, but ended up removing the batter as it was soggy and didn't taste good. The service was average, with the touchscreen ordering system limiting our options and lacking a personal touch. Overall, it was an okay experience, but nothing that would make me want to go back.

I chose Hog's Breath because I had good experiences with the brand in the past. I ordered the 200g steak for $21.95. The outdoor environment was nice and the service was good. My first impressions were not great as the sauce jug was dirty and the salad did not look like the one on the menu. I brought this to the attention of the waitress, who quickly wiped the jug and brought it back. The mashed potatoes looked great but were bland, while the salad, although sad in appearance, tasted fine. The steak was well cooked and tender, but the taste was average. The garlic cream sauce was disappointing, more like a white sauce with a hint of garlic. The bill ended up being $28.95 instead of the expected $21.50 because I had ordered two sides. I was disappointed and felt like I had wasted my money, as I could have made a better meal at home for less. I have reached out to Hog's Breath with my feedback but have not heard back. I don't plan on returning and would advise others to form their own opinions.

Despite the meal times that come out longer than expected as there were not many customers, the service of cody was good. cody welcomed us when we checked out the menu at the entrance. I'll try something else next time.
