"Lovely Sunday lunch with our dog, beautifully presented. 2 super waiters to which we left £20 aswell as the one attached to the bill so I hope they got it, not the spectacled-balding guy who went into the bistro as soon as we walked out. All of the staff were attentive and friendly. We would definitely recommend and return. Thank you."

"Incredible value for great food in nice surroundings. Efficient service. Obvious 5* but then my Butty Bach arrived. It was undrinkable (and I do know my favourite bitter). Was told curtly it was fine. I left it all but a couple of nasty sips. I was charged for it ... disgraceful."

"Thank goodness the other eateries weren't open on Sunday evening. We noticed the doorr to Housemans open and, yes, they were serving food. It was difficult to choose as there were many tempting dishes. Finally we close chicken teriyaki salad, beef teriyaki salad, king prawn dim sum, aromatic crispy duck with pancakes, egg fried rice, shared by three of us. Everything was excellent, freshly cooked and very tasty. The waiter was friendly and polite and the chef popped over twice, also polite and friendly. Definitely one to return to as we want to try more dishes."
