"The place was busy and I would recommend a reservation. All the food was very good. Had the lamb bacon pasta and my partner had the heirloom tomato eggs Benedict. Would visit here again just to try the other things on the menu."

"14th Anniversary second visit and enjoyed our corner behind the glass with clear ray of winter sun. Shakshuka is good if you enjoy tomatoes you get more than plenty with this dish. Pea+Halloumi fritters is also nice. But the coffee is top notch really really good taste and good balance 3 years ago Food is delicious and I can see this place will be lovely during the warm summer nights. The portion could be a bit better for the price but the food is fresh and delicious"

"Beautiful Cafe! I went to Sismo Cafe for the first time this year and my friend shouted me something to drink and eat at Sismo Cafe. The mushroom sauce on toast with salmon I found delicious! The coffee and tea dishware is really beautiful with its creative colourful designs as well and the staff members are so lovely!"

"This is my favourite Japanese in Christchurch. There isn’t much ambience in this tiny eatery but the food and polite staff more then make up for it. I tend to go for the dinner bento which is delicious and filling. <br/ <br/ The salmon sashimi is very fresh and the tempura batter is light and crispy. The chicken teriyaki is well marinated and juicy. I also had the takoyaki to start which was probably the weaker dish due to the tougher texture of the batter used. <br/ <br/ Overall I found the service to be good and fast for a busy Thursday evening!"
