What User likes about The Gage:
We ate at The Gage years ago on a visit to Chicago. We dined there again last night and found it to be the wonderful restaurant that we recalled. From the time we entered until we left, the personnel were friendly, caring and thoughtful. Food was excellent read more.

The steaks, for size and quality, were overpriced. My seafood chowder had exactly one shrimp, which was overcooked. Other entrees were light on veggies. Service was great. Having Irish music for St. Patrick’s day was a nice touch, but even in the back was louder than desirable. Drinks were large and well done.
