North Pond - Chicago
Menu
A comprehensive menu of North Pond from Chicago featuring all 67 meals and drinks can be found here on the menu.
The North Pond restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with imaginative, well-prepared, and beautifully presented food. While service started slow, it became helpful and attentive. However, there were some minuses including unsatisfying desserts, a cold room with drafts, and high prices compared to similar quality restaurants. Some diners found the food over salted, while others enjoyed the starters more than the main courses. The limited menu had mixed reviews on dishes like pork and pastrami ribs. However, the burger was a standout dish. The energetic atmosphere was better suited for casual dining rather than pricey starters. On the positive side, diners praised the inventive dishes, excellent condiments, and classic Prairie style decor with views of the Chicago skyline. The knowledgeable and kind staff provided an absolute pleasure of a dinner. The prefix menu with wine flight was well worth it, with each course being a feast for the senses. Customers appreciated the beautiful setting, especially for special occasions. While some minor imperfections were noted, such as juice quality, overall experiences at North Pond were highly praised for the exceptional service, innovative food, and delightful atmosphere.

cozy, classic, profound, decadent, surprisingly good price. we were here for our 1 year jubilee and had the complete menu and the wine pairing. Honestly, here went such an experience each plate was full of the development of aromen and textures. we ha... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about North Pond:
For a Michelin star restaurant, this experience was lack luster. Bench seat sticky from the last patron. Shelves with canned veggies had a layer of dust. Just not the environment I was expecting. Service was good, but the service waiters knew little about what they were delivering beside the line they memorized. Our bill was over $600 so I guess I was underwhelmed. View all feedback.
