"Excellent food, everything is cooked fresh, has a varied menu. I have eaten there many times and also held my retirement party there and we hired the whole Restuarant. They catered for 50 of us with 7 courses, each as delicious as the course before. I have several food intolerances and the dishes are always prepared to not include what I can’t eat. In my experiences this doesn’t happen in most Restuarants The staff are very friendly and highly efficient, In my opinion it is the best Restuarant in Chelmsford"

"One of the nicest places I've been in a long time. Will definitely be going back. Lovely food, attentive service and a nice environment. Car park a little small but they manage it well. For 2 of us 3 courses each and drinks was 110, not bad. I'm stuffed"

"Excellent meal. so happy that mick and lydia took over this pub. despite a really busy dining room, they have made our first experience very special. signature hummer ravioli starter was fab (we all had it), filet steaks perfect, beautiful sea stream and exquisite duck court. desserts to the same standard. very happy to recommend to all our friends."
