Pishon Patisserie & Cake Cafe

I always get sucked in by the beautiful display of cakes & bread, and the different flavour combinations this Korean cafe bakery offers. However I have yet to try anything I actually like, and get disappointed with what I choose each time. Being afternoon, not too many selections were left. I got the sticky rice baguette, I normally like sticky rice, so intrigue on how that can turn into a baguette. It was literally a baguette roll with a big hole inside where it's stuffed with sticky rice paste and some big raisins. The bread on the outside was dried & tough. The sticky rice paste was bland with no flavour, the only flavour came from the raisins, which added a small hint of sweetness. Overall it was dense & difficult to eat. Not pleasant.

I bought a green tea cake here. price was average. the texture was so soft & easy to eat. definitely recommended to try their cakes. they have variety of flavours here. ????????

Very conveniently located for Chatswood train station and a very interesting (read: exciting!) menu. Friendly service, did a good matcha latte so I'll probably be back.

For convenience and location, the cakes will be bought. Wouldn’t say they are the best out there but some can be quite nice. I have had the ades there before which were refreshing.

Small little cafe near woolies that serves a variety of cakes. Some very interesting varieties like sweet potato cake that are worth a try. The chocolate mousse is pretty good and quite soft inside. Staff a bit inattentive even though not that many people in the store resulting in lower score
