What Summer Bauch likes about The Chip Shack:
We had gone out to restaurants for a majority of our trip so this was a nice change. It is close to the waterfront with parking right in front of the truck. They were quite busy so we waited 30 minutes for our food.We both had the fish and chips. It was excellent! The taste was great and well worth the wait. I really wanted to like this place. Very personable staff and a small business. I probably just ordered the wrong menu item, unfortunately. I ordered a hot dog and fries. The hot dog was not very good and I didn’t even finish it. The fries...were good. The other huge disappointment was the “communal condiments area”. in the price was the lobster roll literally crushed meat and the roll was 6 inches long. no taste, but salt. expects more for a 21$ lobster roll.
