The outdoor seating on the sidewalk adds to the enjoyable atmosphere. Some highlights include the excellent guacamole, delicious burger and fries, and outstanding charcuterie. However, there are some occasional disappointments like the salmon cakes and tough steak. Despite these minor issues, Roosters remains a popular choice for many, offering a warm atmosphere, excellent service, and a diverse menu with unique and recommended items.
Great causal option before a show at the Belk Theatre. Appreciate the parking validation too!
The buffalo chicken skins were the highlight. The mac and cheese what better than most restaurants. The grilled salmon was really good, albeit a little small at that price point. Will definitely visit again
The food is top notch. The tomato basil soup was the best we have ever had. We can also recommend the fried okra side as well as the potatoes au gratin.
1st dining experience at Roosters 9/2/23. Casual atmosphere was good for a pre college football game meal. Many entree items on the menu are priced a la carte. There are some gluten sensitive options. The food cost a bit pricey for the average quality and portion size.
