The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with attentive staff members and a clean, well-ventilated environment. The food received mixed reviews, with some customers finding it average and others praising dishes such as the cilantro grilled chicken breast and prime rib with au gratin potatoes. The bar is also highlighted as a positive aspect, with creative and visually appealing drink presentations. However, some guests experienced issues with reservations and loud noise levels in the restaurant. In summary, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill South-Park provides a great dining experience for those looking for a cozy atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices.
It was a pretty good experience. The only issue is that some of the service was slow or took too long. Outside of that, it was a great experience
This is a really nice place, we both had the salmon and it was great.
I don’t know if we just came on a bad night but things just didn’t flow well. Appetizer came before our cocktails, took 20 minutes to get those. Then ordered wine with the meal and it didn’t arrive until we were about finished eating. Our steaks were way undercooked. Staff seemed rushed and overwhelmed although the manager said they were not understaffed that evening. Overall, a big disappointment. A very forgettable experience.
Our waiter was great, but our food took around 45 minutes. Incredibly noisy, needs some noise suppressors. Food was good, but for a $100 for two adults, I believe it was expensive. One drink per adult. Thank you
Used to be a big fan of this place. The last 3-4 times we have been here, everything has been really, really, really slow. If you have anything else on your evening agenda, you’ll be better off going elsewhere. Notwithstanding a reservation, it was over an hour before dinner got to our table. We witnessed a party at the table next to us, who were clearly dressed to the nines for another event, simply have to leave after nothing but their drinks and bread, as their meals were nowhere close to being ready after about an hour. The waitstaff was doing what they could, but the back of the house was apparently hopelessly behind. There was also a growing gathering of DoorDash or UberEats drivers lined up waiting on pick ups. This used to be a great place for dinner—even special occasions—but for the past year or so it has simply been a disappointment each visit. I’m tired of giving then a second, third and fourth chance. As much as I’d like to see them succeed, I’m washing my hands of this place.
