"Our son moved here in June and this is hands-down our FAVE place to come and eat! Wonderful vibe, decor, excellent food and beverages. The pumpkin pancakes were AMAZING!!! Avocado toast was perfect. You will not be disappointed if you go out of your way to come here."

"All right! Since I moved from Ames, I've been looking for a good Pho and Boba place. The dumplings are alive. The Pho is really very good and the boba top notch. Seriously, this place gives me a necessary boost of serotonin and is so refreshing in a city of Burger places and Applebees."

"This was my first visit to Bo Mac's. I had ridden by on my bicycle many times without ever noticing that this place existed, but my spouse visited with a friend and recommended it. I visited on a Saturday late morning, one in a group of hungry cyclists halfway through a 60-mile bicycle ride. It was just passed opening, and we were the first customers of the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we ordered a variety of entrees for lunch. I also managed to find a draft beer that I had not previously tasted, which is no small feat. I had the mushroom and bleu cheese burger with their signature potato pancakes side. (For the record, these are not conventional potato pancakes that you might order at a breakfast place. Instead they are mashed potatoes, savory with herbs, and fried pancake style on a griddle. This is a description, not a criticism. The burger and potato pancakes were both very tasty. Colleagues ordered the pork tenderloin, salmon sandwich Reuben. Everyone in the group expressed satisfaction with their choices. We ate outside in the spacious and shady patio area, which features a raised platform for live music performances which generally occur weekly, weather permitting."

"Dined here the last two nights. Outstanding service with fresh takes on timeless dishes including steak pom frites, bucatini with crushed tomatoes, lamb carpaccio, and fried sourdough. Delicious desserts including freshly made madeleines and ?bumpy? cake accompanied by a vintage 2011 port from the heart of the Douro Valley, Quinta de la Rosa! The bartender serves unique interpretations of Manhattan?s, Rusty Nails, etc. All diners in our parties were most pleased."

"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I have been going to the Mt. Vernon road location for a year now. Always great customer service until today, July 8, 2022. I walked in on my phone (yes very rude of me, but hey I did it) and the gal behind the counter stood there for a good 4 minutes. At first I thought she was making to-go orders so I waited but then she was doing nothing. Finally I asked if I could order and her response was ?yes, I was just waiting for you to get off your phone.? I was shocked and said ok, never mind then in which she replied with ?ok, bye.? Clearly she is not cut out to work with the public. Unfortunately when working with the public in the food industry you have to be able to serve all kinds and this gal settled it for me, I will never step foot back in the store."
