I had the lonely vegetarian sandwich which I absolutely loved . My husband wolfed down his fish sandwich and fries, my daughter really enjoyed her fish and chips ate nearly all of it! We will be going and enjoying again. Our server was great!

I used to live in Carleton Place, and I remember the old Leather Works. It was a fun place for the locals, however it was run down moldy and basically falling into the river!<br/ They place underwent an ownership change, and they put lots of money into a huge renovation of the place.<br/ <br/ The wife and I went with another couple, and we were all pleased! The food was great, the service was very fast and prompt. You cannot beat the view of the river and great Architecture, and they have a great beer list!<br/ <br/ The wife and I liked it so much that we went back again! This is a lovely little place if you visit Carleton Place.<br/ <br/ Did I mention they have a very good line of Craft Brews on draft all from Ontario!

My family and I have eaten there several times since the reno, and have enjoyed every dish we 've tried. Quality food, made with fresh, tasty ingredients, cooked and presented perfectly. It 's definitely a step up from your typical 'pub grub '. The fish and chips is one of the best I 've had, and the pulled pork is delicious.
