Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews, with some diners unhappy about COVID passport requirements and poor service, while others praised the food, ambiance, and service. One reviewer was not informed of the new regulations and had a negative experience. Another complained about slow service and incorrect drinks. Despite these issues, diners enjoyed the delicious food, excellent service, and stunning views. The restaurant is recommended for its incredible ambience, perfectly prepared steak, and attentive staff. Overall, the restaurant seems to have some areas to improve on, but has potential to provide a great dining experience.
Beef Tenderloin steak. Steak little uncooked. Plate in general cold. The waitresses are very nice and hard working to meet satisfaction.
Friday night. Very few people dining. A waitress who’d never worked in dining room. We had to look for someone to serve us. We waited and finally one of us had to get up and ask once again. By now we had waited 1/2 hr. to get drink order in. The banquette chairs are so high, we must have been hidden from sight. Out of sight, out of mind. The manager spoke to one table, walked by our table and didn’t acknowledge us. After about the third time he decided to see how we were doing. Our drinks arrived but 2 of the reds were not red, they were rose. More waiting. Ordered our food and it came in a timely fashion. My pork was delicious. My husband’s salmon did not have much flavor or sauce. I think that Rustica could have a date night special or something. It was not a happening place. We liked the decor as it was and would like to see experienced staff. Disappointed last night.
The best food I’ve eaten in years. We eat out at a lot of fancy restaurants and this one is definitely the top of that list. Very good service, very relaxing music and absolutely the best elk steak I’ve ever had!
Being served by Isabelle is always a joy. She excels in customer service, with a cheerful, patient, and attentive attitude. The food was decent, but unfortunately not outstanding.
We initially thought this restaurant would be the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner, given its high ratings. However, we were disappointed with our experience. The restaurant, although beautiful with a nice ambience and a crackling wood fire, was not able to live up to our expectations. Despite a good server who tried to salvage the evening, we encountered several issues. Our main disappointment came when our porterhouse steak, ordered cooked medium rare after a 45-day aging process, took a total of 2 hours to arrive at our table. Each time our server and the chef came out to inform us of a delay of 25-30 minutes. When the steak finally arrived, it was overcooked. The server was apologetic and offered to have a couple of tenderloins quickly cooked for us, but the damage was already done. It was past 8:30pm and we needed to meet friends at 9pm, so we had to leave. While our server kindly packed the food to go and did her best under the circumstances, we felt that a manager should have addressed the situation and offered a better apology. We left some money to cover our drinks and tip, but we were left disappointed with our experience. It would have been nice to receive an offer to try the restaurant again in the future.
