La Roca Restaurant - Cabo San Lucas

Un buen vino (Duck horn). Un aceptable Kobe y unos tacos de camarón de ensueño. Falta que tengan Blue label pero no le quita nada.

El lugar tiene una vista increible al oceano Pacífico. La magestusidad del mar en todo su esplendor. El restaurante una atmósfera increible, para familias o viaje en parejas. La presentación y concepto de los platillos muy buena pero no logra obtener los sabores esperados. Un poco decepcionados por el resultado total. Por lo mismo el costo no alineado al producto final.

This is such a beautiful setting... the waves crashing on the beach... candlelight, great service and delicious food... Not much more to say....We were here for our anniversary and it was one of the beautiful settings I have ever seen.This is an upscale restaurant but well worth the price. It was a memorable evening.

I generally find the "fine-dining" restaurant at most resorts to be B+ at best and seriously over-priced. Well, La Roca is an exception to that rule. No, it isn't inexpensive but yes, the food, service & atmosphere at an outside table make for an award winning combination. We dropped off a small tuna that we caught one day when we got back to the hotel and asked to have the chef prepare it grilled, blackened & one other way of his choice. No surprise, his special version was by far the best. They also have a morning breakfast buffet that is terrific. La Roca is ranked either #1 or #2 in fine dining restaurants in all of Cabo--again, a rarity for a hotel restaurant and an honor that makes it qualify as a destination restaurant.
