Was Magnus Purdy at Laundry 43 a mag?
Our Airbnb owner recommended this restaurant during our check-in. She did mention its a nice restaurant with very good food. We visited the restaurant at 6pm on a Friday evening and it was empty. But it quickly filled up by 7ish. We were told by the staff it's a shared restaurant and she recommended us to order a few dishes from each course. We totally love the food. However the servings are not big (to be shared) an... View all feedback.

What Glenna Ryan dislikes about Laundry 43:
Went to laundry on a recommendation by some friends as "the place to go" I believe the chef was trained by Gordon Ramsay. The food was a little confusing, and I felt a little silly not knowing what I was looking at. All in all I ordered something called a rinse cycle- it was ok but was left a little hungry. I will go back with someone who knows more than me so I don't feel so silly, I like menues that don't require a... View all feedback.

We regularly go to top end restaurants in Wester Australia, ie Rockpool, Wildflower etc,Our dining experience last night at Laundry 43 was the six course degustation menu. We won't bore you with food descriptions as they have been covered by other reviewers suffice to say this was the best dining experience we have had . The service was enthusiastic and cheerful, it is not white tablecloths and napkins but the food was simply sensational. Our new favourite West Australian restaurant.

Dined for the last three Thursday evenings, exceptional food. Three coarse for $40, Tuesday to Thursday 5 pm to 6 pm. You won't be disappointed

Presented really well with lovely decor and it was warm (given Busselton's cooler weather). Really liked the cosy feel, however they have a few booths and no cushions on the booth which was a little uncomfy. The food was presented well, however we felt it was very expensive for a family meal. The food is designed to be shared between two and they suggested 6 dishes between 3 people. At $45 for each main dish, that's $270 without drinks. The food that we had was tasty and we did enjoy it. Overall, it was a good experience but best saved for a special meal where you're expecting to pay significantly more.
