After a spontaneous decision to go away for the night we found ourselves walking around at 7pm at night looking for a place to have a meal. There were restaurants but we were in casual clothes. We were not members but we were able to sign in. It was busy but it was a pleasant atmosphere. We looked at the menu and the special was Battered Barra chips and salad $10 bargain! Bistro quite spacious,plenty of room between tables.Staff cheerful and friendly.We shared an entree of vegetable spring rolls followed by beer battered flathead and chips and grilled barramundi with a quinoa salad.The food was nicely presented and exactly what we expected.The wine list was extensive and price friendly. Wouldnt waste my time having breakfast here again. Over 45 minutes wait for breakfast without being told prior. The cafe was hardly half full and some of the tables remained dirty from the time we arrived to the time we left. 2 snobby Melburnian coffee drinkers here. Medium Oat latte extra hot, soy iced latte. All three times we visited consistent great tasting coffee, really lovely service. ONLY SHOCK WAS THE PRICE. Just under $17 each time. However, this included a 15% PH surcharge. Highly recommend for coffee drinkers. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
