"Absolutely first class venue, service and of course food. We were the 1st to try a new brunch menu, it's a bit like a tasting menu with a extremely well cooked and presented selection. The restaurant also boasts 11 well appointed rooms, a function room and garden. Highly recommended, we will be back!!"

"Wonderful experience at The Lamb. I was delighted at the variety of vegetarian options very unusual to get a choice and not a mushroom risotto in sight. My husband was also very happy with his flat iron steak. Great meal, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff...and Molly the dog asleep on my foot. Perfect evening!"

"I was at the carpenters Arms with a friend .we had the prawn toast and whitebait to start which was so fresh and crisp.The mains of seabream and mussel chowder is the best I've tasted.it was followed by a very lovely apple and blackberry crumble plenty of fruit and lovely home made ice cream which we share.All in all a lovely lunch.The service was no intrusive but also felt looked after by Holly and Kate.
