We were famished by the time we started our trek up Florida St from Plaza de Mayo so we stoped in at Cafe Florida (cool name). Good choice. Friendly, simple order process with excellent table service. I had the very good Milanesa de Ternera c/fritas and the excellent local Quilmes Beer. Nice Restroom too but its upstairs. read more.

We called in for a quick tea and glass of wine. Really poor service - appear to dislike tourists! It took us ages to get served and then to get the bill. We then got over-charged. My wife speaks fluent Spanish and heard the waiters discuss how much they should over-charge us......Avoid! read more.
