Was Emilio Matías at Abra Pampa a mag?
Great atmosphere, food, wine and service. The food comes on sizzling platers to keep it hot. The service was very friendly for a person wh not speak Spanish good. View all feedback.

What María Naranjo dislikes about Abra Pampa:
We were very excited about our last steak in Buenos Aires yesterday and really wish we had gone to one of the other restaurants in the area. Our poor waiter was friendly enough, but there was only him up and as a result the service was ridiculously slow, even in a city where the service is famously slow. We waited half an hour to place our order, and were actually on the way when he finally came over the wish we had!... View all feedback.

We would have been very excited with our last steak on our last night in good air, and we really wish we had gone to any of the other restaurants in the area. our poor waiter was kind enough, but there was only him and, as a result, the service was ridiculously slow even in a city where the service is famous slow. We waited half an hour just to make our order, and actually we were at the point of getting out when he finally came, we would want! Having eaten a lot of steak in the city for this point, this was definitely the worst. poorly cooked (I gave my juicy, that in the hands of all the other Parrilla-Chef has meant a memorable and informed experience: here it was still cold in the middle) and both steaks and sides were sinful and were not. a little like the atmosphere: the whole place was sosa. We had also had many better cheaper meals for this point. really disappointed.

We had heard of great parila in ba and this restaurant certainly stood up to that reputation. not to speak a Spanish word on our first day in South America, we venture to discover how the whole bulb (bbq) was treated. Well, we were surprised at pkasantantentant, when our server spent so much time helping originating from the United States, wine and food menus. He did not speak much English, but did everything possible and was extremely patient with us. The food we received was really delicious. the beef (definitely the best) and the beef choizo (a thinner cut of meat) were served perfectly accompanied by salad, baked potatoes and vegetables. too much food for two people, especially with fresh bread and roasted eggplant (loaded with garlic) that was complementary and to die. There is no room for dessert and a bag of puppies for the next day. We leave and happy. a word of caution ... be careful walking through the hollywood/soho/veijo pavements. they are dirty, full of trash, doo dog and raw meat. Furthermore, they are broken and uneven, so it is easy to shoot if ypu is not careful.

Our first time in this new (July 2012) grill. the food was perfectly prepared, my husband had a mean lb lomo that was perfect. the grass fed the meat of Argentinian cow at its best (more rare than we entered), but the taste is so superior. We made a mistake by ordering a vegetable brooch that appeared as a gigantic dish of veggies grilled enoug for 4 ... they don't understand parts in this country, everything is family style and huge. I'd recommend it.
