"I had heard only good things about Alioli, so my visit to their restaurant was quite a letdown. I wanted to order Paella but I noticed in the menu that I actually cannot order paella for one, I must order two paellas. If you come alone, you either pay the double portion or no paella for you. I have ordered pimientos de padron which turned out to be frozen, covered with tempura and fried in much oil with pungent taste vs. the description from menu: fresh grilled peppers. I ordered also a tower made from grilled vegetables and gratinated goat cheese. Vegetables had a strange consistency and seemed pre-cooked and reheated and the cheese wasn't gratinated at all. In conclusion, food is at most mediocre and far too expensive in terms of quality."
