Lunch on Saturday 9-07-2016 At the entry to the bistro there is a waiter propped on a chair with a cash register and is ready to take your order.
It's been ten or so years since we have come to Magnums restaurant after they put the wrong gravy on my wife meal and made her VERY ill for several days.

"All right, a very unique hotel years old, cool. Little hidden business in downtown. I can treat 3 burgers and we take double meat double cheese. Yup made to order fresh, a jalapeño, chips and a cold soda pop. As I like it and have parked a seat in the back of my parking lot in front of the burger joint. "Best New York style pizza in South Texas. My favorite is the New York Village Pizza but you can’t go wrong with a pepperoni pizza either. Try the Yankee fries with wings. We like oven baked wings. Support local family businesses. So much better than Dodici or The Pizzeria in Brownsville. 5 stars."

"Terrible food!!!I paid $15 and I expected that the food would be how I asked for it. I asked for crunchy TRIPAS and they gave me super stretchy soft TRIPAS….disgusting, couldn’t even chew them.The meat was over seasoned that the lemon wouldn’t even cut the salt.The lady up at the front is really rude and don’t even think about dining in there they don’t have good ventilation it’s like you’re sitting outside. I will never go back to this establishment."

"I ordered the chicken capresse which is usually a big rectangle ciabatta bread (like it’s shown in a picture on their website and on their Instagram) and they gave me a square ciabatta bread instead, which is usually for the turkey bacon sandwiches and so on. They said this is how they make it there??? Which is confusing, because I remember it being like the one on the website and insta. So disappointed."
