From being ignored in a private room to experiencing rushed and flavorless food, this dining experience was one to forget. In stark contrast, another group enjoyed a lavish Sunday brunch at Oskars, where an impressive buffet spread and attentive service left a lasting impression. Despite some discrepancies in service quality and reservations policy, the delightful food and elegant atmosphere make Oscar's a recommended spot for a memorable meal.
It could have been the shortest and fastest hibachi show in history. also the personal stared and waited for the departure. from the reservation time to the end eating 30 minutes. very bad experience
Great food. staff was professional. atmosphere a bit cold, but the food! oh the food!
The restaurant was packed and loud. The food was your standard tepanyaki dishes. Unfortunately, the included salad is no longer an option. However, the avocado salad was delicious. The miso soup was flavorful but served cold. Overall, everything else was good. The chef was entertaining with his onion volcano, food flipping, and egg tossing skills. My only complaint was the malfunctioning exhaust fan, which left me smokey and uncomfortable due to being downwind while he cooked.
It was terrible. they forgot us in the private room. we had to get up and ask someone to drink. they never came back and asked if we wanted more. no show for hibachi just cooked. never asked if we wanted to drink something, and we all had empty glasses, and I brought it with me without asking if we wanted anything else. the floor was so slippery. there were old eating at the grill. we were there for a special occasion and even decorated the room. they didn't make it special at all, we totally forget and unintentional. so grief.
My reservation was honored and I sat right on my hibachi table. the evening meal and the show were excellent. I have a great value for my money in osaka japanese steakhouse in coolidge corner. I would definitely go back.
