Contribute FeedbackLeela Thai, formerly Lemongrass Thai, has undergone renovations and has impressed diners with their updated decor. Despite some disappointing experiences with food quality from delivery orders, the restaurant still offers tasty dishes such as red chicken curry and oyster sauce chicken. Customers have appreciated the quick service and management's responsiveness to issues. While some dishes like curry puffs have been highly recommended, it is suggested to avoid ordering noodle dishes for delivery as they may not retain their best taste. Overall, Leela Thai is praised for being the best Thai restaurant in Brisbane with friendly staff and a great menu.
We enjoyed a tasty take away dinner from Leela Thai. We ordered a red chicken curry, oyster sauce chicken and chicken skewers. The main dishes were really tasty.
Food was tasty and service quick for a home delivery. The management was really cooperative on an issue that arose from a 3rd party provider. I appreciated their response to the situation. I recommend this restaurant, especially the tasty curry puffs.
I got this as a menulog order and it was a really disappointing meal. The massaman beef was still a bit tough and had minimal aroma. The steamed rice was stuck together and super gluggy. The pad thai was a lurid orange and overly sweet. The pad se ew had stuck together in a big ball of noodles and was described by my colleague as "gluey, tastelessness". Their papaya salad was their sole saviour, carefully packed in two boxes, one for the dressing and one for all the veggies. Crunchy, refreshing, perfectly balanced in the dressing! A cheap salad but the rest of it was so bad, that my famously stingy friends tried to palm it off on one another in order to avoid eating it. thatseriousgirl.blogspot.com
Leela Thai replaces Lemongrass Thai. They've renovated the restaurant and done a great job. The food remains very good, but now the decor matches. Can't tell whether the same chef remains, but the Massaman Curry is still very tasty and my colleagues are very happy with the new menu.
The prawn and crab rolls wrapped in netting and deep fried are very tasty and a good value at under $5Unfortunately the pad see ew was fairly bland.
