This small place reminded me of the type of cafes in Japan mostly called a hole in the wall by the locals. This was similar to those places in Japan great tasting food and speedy service Just the right place to grab a snack or a full meal whilst shopping or waiting for you bus. View all feedback.
What Teckhamster dislikes about Teppanyaki Lovers:
I eaten at this place a number of times staff are very rude for customer service I waited 45 mins for my noodles only find out beef noodles had hardly any beef in it to start off with and the veggies sizes they cut something u feed to your pet rabbit to eat it's not worth the 12 bucks also if u have food allergies I be extremely careful like i I have a allergy to rice they cook my noodles with rice beside it end up v... I was shopping in the Myer Centre with a friend & came across this place. My friend was in need of sustenance so ordered a quick Japanese curry. Myself just a Matcha tea. After reading the review below I am rather pleased that is all I ordered! The tea was OK though!
I was so excited to try this place but I was just left feeling sick in the stomach. Although the food was somewhat decent (although it wasn't authentic Japanese food), the poor handling of food and the cockroaches crawling around the grill was something I could not ignore. I usually don't like to defame restaurants but if I could rate this place any lower I would. I have never felt so reluctant to eat my food! Definitely do not recommend trying this place until they fix their cleanliness and food safety!
Terrible....cooked 8 orders before ours and when I asked where our food was after waiting 15mins....I got your next..still other orders and finally mine. I asked why and I got a shrug of the shoulders and a weak sorry. Called the manager....could not care less!!! made excuses.....pathetic so disappointing will never eat there again and I hope others don't either....food wasn't tasty either and have had an upset stomach all afternoon....AVOID!!!!!!!
Okonomiyaki I love Japanese food and this is my first time with Teppanyaki Lovers. I came here with my Japanese friend, she wanted to have okonomiyaki so we called for one. It was fun sitting and watching the chefs cooking and serving right in front of us. Okonomiyaki looked funny and a little bit different than the one i had in Vietnam. But after just one bite, i already fell for it. It tasted amazingggg, sooo soft with the tender noodles under and pork, with salty taste from fish. I totally love it my and Japanese friend said that it tasted like a true Okonomiyaki in Japan. I'll absolutely come back again, I want to try the other food here too
I wish there was a zero score for this place! Pathetic service, I asked for extra chicken , paid $2 and don't think it was any different from a normal serve, also these guys are so disorganised that my Order sat there for 5 mins while they were trying to figure out who it was for? Please don't shout while the food is in front of you ! I am not happy and them yelling in front of my cooked meal totally put me off my lunch ! Not going back!
