Contribute Feedback What Cory-Rose B likes about Harajuku Gyoza:
Absolutely love Harajuku Gyoza; the staff, atmosphere and food is usually always awesome. I did have an unfortunate experience trying the Takoyaki Gyoza today. It was drowning in Dried Bonito Fish flakes which created a strong unpleasant seafood smell. There also doesn't seem to be baby octopus inside the dumplings which is usual in Takoyaki. Complaints about the dish above aside, will be back : View all feedback.
What Rudolph Denesik doesn't like about Harajuku Gyoza:
This is a local for work lunches in Brisbane. The food is great quality and there are a good variety of dumplings and gyoza to choose from. It can be a little pricey for what you get, but look for deals on EatClub. View all feedback.
Had the pork gyoza, chicken curry and chicken ramen today. Been waiting for 5mins at the door to be seated, staff shortage and can feel that they are exhausting. Food: pork gyoza was okay, normal quality, nothing surprised ; chicken curry was not good, same as the quality as the instant curry you can order in Japan aquarium /zoo but cost 13.5aud here; chicken ramen was not good as well, same price as the curry, and chicken is tasteless and soup is just like the instant ramen soup base. Overall, won't visit again as not worth the price and not impress about the quality.
My friend susuki told me this restaurant was great. And it really really feel like home taste.Great service. Will back again with susuki.lollll
Food is tasty and service is fast, all food was delivered to our table with 10-15 mins after ordering. I tried the grilled pork gyoza and the karaage chicken. Both were delicious but a little greasy. I also ordered the original raindrop cake for the table to try. It was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The texture was interesting, it was a little like jelly that melted in your mouth. Combined with the dark syrup it had a molasses like flavour. I wasn't quite sure of what the light brown powder was however it had almost a peanut flavour to it. If you like simple sweet flavours, or trying different foods I'd definitely recommend giving the raindrop cake a go. Overall I enjoyed the experience, the helpfulness of the staff and the atmosphere of this restaurant.
Soufflé pancakes- finally got a chance to try them and they are so flufffyyyyyy and super fulfilling too would totally recommend sharing, definitely give them a try if you are at Harajuku Gyoza just a head up they are pretty expensive in my opinion since they cost $16 and had the Pale ale at happy hour which they give free wings. Totally recommend the chicken wings since they were crispy and crunchy????
Service was good individually but as team they definitely need more communication. We went for the limited edition pancakes and ordered two of them as well as the duck gyoza. Duck gyoza tasted like pork and was not grilled well, quite soggy. 40 minutes later only one of the pancakes arrived and when asking about the other ones whereabouts, the waitress said we ordered too late. I understand that it was a busy night but if an order of TWO pancakes come through, TWO should come out together not just one!! The pancakes were nice, but we were left disappointed overall.
