Got the pack for one person, it included a delicious flake, 6 calamari and chips for $22. I had it with my wife and it was plenty for the both of us. Great quality, quantity, taste and price. The guy at the counter was super friendly. I'd highly recommend this place

Chips were good and the grilled calamari was so delicate and full of taste. the service was welcoming and they were very patient and accommodating while the children found out what they wanted. have you been coming back?

PLEASE READ It is disappointing to write such review but I want other people to be aware how atrocious their customer service could be.First instead of a greeting they asked some of our friends to leave the shop in such an ill-mannered way. I get it and respected what they said as we were there with our friends and the shop being small. It could be said politely.It is a disgrace we had to endure racism in a restaurant/take away. The guy who was taking our order literally made fun of our language straight to our face. He lacks manner and obviously no existence of customer service in his dictionary.At this covid time we wanted to support a local business instead, ordering from them was compared to a slap in the face.If I am to talk about food, it was overpriced and the fish was unseasoned.I would recommend a customer service training for their employees and learn to treat customers with respect.

Had the best fish,calamari n chips we have had in years. Well priced and friendly service. A must try if you are in Bright. Cash only so get your money ready before you go orvthere us an eftpos machine on the corner.

Many of us born in the 50s fondly remember the fish and chips of our childhood. We chose fresh from Footscray Market Blue Granadier instead of the Flake and Salmon on offer. Rock Salt served up 2 large juicy Granadier fillets cooked to perfection, enough fish and hand cut chips to more than satisfy both of us, cute tubs of seafood sauce, and quarters of lemon.. and only $17.90. Great service with a smile from the friendly younger man at the counter, outstanding quality fish and chips, absolutely delicious, whilst the senior gent in charge of the cooking out back is certainly old school Fish and Chips veteran, loved it.... do try Rock Salt if you are fond of quality fish and chips of the old days. We went back a couple of days later, bought some fresh prawns, scallops, calamari, and salmon for our home made marinara alio olio.. the quality of the seafood was again outstanding & only $15.00.. the spaghetti marinara ended up a real treat, got the thumbs up from all 4 happy diners.
