I know there have been mixed reviews recently for the Hinds Head (including myself). But my husband and I had a fantastic meal with exceptional customer service and delicious food and we really couldn't owe our experience on Saturday night. Plus points- staff were friendly, efficient and attentive It ticked a box We were given a birthday desert However- I did not enjoy the cut of steak and it was just served by itself, no salad or veg. We both thought the chips were greasy and overcooked. I’ve had better scotch eggs than the one served here, the flavours just weren’t there and not sure why it was served with a Dijon mayonnaise, it didn’t complement it.... read more.
