Family oriented restaurant. Not stylish or tidy looking interia but reminds me of an actual Asian restaurant. We all enjoyed the food. We will definately go back. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Viet Thai Basil:
I don't know who wrote these reviews, but I was there on a Saturday night. Ordered Shrimp Pad Thai. The bizarre creation they call pad thai is something I've never seen and it was bland and well just not good. Lots of brocolli and carrots and other veggies More veggies than noodles and the 4 tiny shrimp. Once my food was dropped off I didn't see a waitress again until I was about to leave. Not bad for Brantford; not too many unique food options in this area. The rare beef did not have very good cuts of meat.
At first glance, I was a bit skeptical eating here, but after seeing all the great reviews from fellow Yelpers, I thought I'd give it a fair go. From the

I'm conflicted about this restaurant... giving it a 2-star rating might be too harsh, or maybe not. Three of us went there for dinner and the staff was friendly, I guess. I was the only one who ordered a starter.
