After having a not so good experience at the Makimono in Pickering a couple of years ago, I wasn't to sure when our friends suggested to go to this one for dinn... read more After having a not so good experience at the Makimono in Pickering a couple of years ago, I wasn't to sure when our friends suggested to go to this one for dinner.It was a far cry from last time.The tempura was hot, I can't remember when I ate hot shrimp or yam tempura hot. The sushi was very good and my husband who doesn't eat sushi, loved the teriyaki and other grilled and fried beef, pork and chicken dishes.There were a couple of items missing that I'm used to from other Sushi places, but there dessert list made up for that.Service was fast and friendly.I'm sure we will go there again.

Expensive for the quality and the fact that it is mainly rice.Also found the iPad used for ordering was off putting since it was quite dirty and disgusting. Loaded with previous users' fingerprints and bits of food.

Then we were told that if we didn't turn the iPad a certain way, the waiter wouldn't know that we were ready to place the order??? The second time we tried to order, the food never came even though we followed the instructions and the waiter did come over to do something on the iPad. We paid the bill and will not be back.
