"Went for a light lunch today with Mum and Sister. Excellent staff, really friendly and welcoming. Although menu is limited, food is freshly prepared and well presented. Will definitely be having a cherry scone next time, they looked delicious."

"Took my mum and aunt who are both in their 80s for afternoon tea. We had choice of two sandwich fillings from a choice of 8. Then either fruit or plain scone followed by big wedge of cake. Again from a choice of several. All food is prepared to order and all home made. Owner very pleasant and service excellent. We sat in the back room which had lively background music which my family sung along too. It was quite full so made for a lively atmosphere. Our second visit and we will return"

"Visited for Coffee and cake. Really friendly owner and staff. Food made fresh to order. Definitely the best coffee in Bakewell. We had Raspberry and Almond cake. Really moist and delicious. Can definitely recommend."
