What User dislikes about Yakitori Sake House:
Great food, but once we got our bill. They told us we HAD to leave a tip. They were incredibly rude when they said that, so we didn’t leave a tip. Mind you…. the service was awful, waiter was cold, took forever to take our order, never checked if we were good or needed anything!Once we paid and got up to leave… A lady chased us and told us that we forgot to tip!Most places include it on the bill. Seriously OMGosh, really yummy We left sushigo, bc they had no tables. David, the sushi chef was totally amazing and made sure I had a #whole30
This was one of our favorite places to eat all week.
It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!
Excellent as always! Tuna starter is always a must!
