"They have the best breakfast/brunch!Everything we’ve had here has been delicious but personal favorites are biscuits and gravy and bourbon street waffle. Love the rooftop dining with amazing mountain views when it was open . . . hope it reopens soon! Also cocktails are very tasty! It’s always been very busy when we’ve been but the wait is definitely worth it. Must try when in Black Mountain!"

"You walk up to the Deck which is by the way a great spot to grab a seat and relax while enjoying some Food some Local Beers, there's lots of seating. Walk in and order at the bar. Food runners will serve your food. Friendly Service,Clean, Fast. On Fridays and Saturdays Live Bands Play. There are 2 Decks, one is covered and the other is open to the elements. Umbrellas are placed to help with those hot summer days. Great view of the mountains, wild flowers, trees on the property. If you're headed to Lake Lure, Black Mountain stop by and Check Straightaway out. Parking: Gravel Parking Lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Has Wheelchair accessibility."

"My Father in Law and I had to run to Black Mountain. We decided to eat while we were there but didn 't know where. I looked up several local restaurants and this one stuck out. Upon entry we were greeted by wonderful smells and a friendly smile. I ordered The Lookout . It is fried chicken on top of a 9 oz scratch made biscuit with cheddar cheese, delicious smokey bacon and sausage gravy. My Father in Law had the biscuit and gravy and he loved it. It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend."
