A returning guest at HDV Birmingham at the weekend. It continues to demonstrate excellent standards. The staff are wonderful and in particular the bar manager and Jordan( made great cocktails) who went the extra nine yards to accommodate us when we thought the bar area...was full. I will definitely go back if only for the comfort of the lovely beds. read more.

I took 3 colleagues to celebrate a promotion. Unfortunately the service was terrible we had to ask repeatedly to order, we had to ask for our drinks to be topped up. Then only 3 of the 4 main courses turned up. Our waiter was apologetic but it was clear there wasn’t enough colleagues on to serve.
