Michelangelo's has been a staple in the triple cities for 25 years. Originally opening as Villa Pizza in July 1985 by Angelo Belnome, the restaurant quickly gained popularity. One year later, in October 1986, Michael Hadlick joined as a pizza maker and manager. Known as the go-to spot for a quick slice and soda while shopping at the Oakdale Mall or for grabbing a few pies when unexpected guests arrived, Mike and Angelo eventually outgrew the Old Villa and relocated across the aisle to The New Villa. This new location offered a larger seating area for guests and an improved kitchen that allowed for the addition of new menu items.

Michelangelo's is a place that consistently delivers outstanding Italian food with generous portions at fair prices. From the incredibly tender chicken Marsala to the famous garlic knots, each dish is savored by customers. The staff, like Sophia, are friendly and provide top-notch service, making every visit enjoyable. Thoughtful gestures like providing additional sauce and accommodating split orders make the dining experience even more delightful. Whether you're a regular patron or a first-time visitor, Michelangelo's promises a satisfying meal that will have you planning your next visit.

Food is amazing. Servers are fast, friendly and efficient and not in your face the whole time you're there. It's not fancy in there. Not in the least. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't your place. And you're most likely going to have to wait for a table. It's worth it. You absolutely positively canNOT leave hungry. Portions are generous. Gravy (tomato sauce) is simple and very very tasty. It's not perfect, for sure. None of the times we've gone there has water been automatically brought to the table. Garlic knots, yes, but not water. They'll bring if it you ask, but most Italian places just bring it automatically. And, I have to mention it... Flies. So many flies. Doesn't seem to bother people, though since the place is always packed. It bothers me to have those disgusting creatures flying all over while you're trying to enjoy your meal. They spend their miserable lives sitting on food and garbage, which means when they land on your food, they share whatever they've landed on with you. There must be a way for the restaurant to cut down on the flies. As for the prices: very reasonable. This is a place you could eat at several times a week and not break the budget. AND they take Gluten Free very seriously. Their menu even has a page devoted to GF options! Parking sucks. But that's because it's popular and provides a great product, so you'll just have to deal with taking a little extra time to find a spot to park. Again it's worth it.

First time coming and it was excellent!!! The best wings and pizza I have had in years. The chicken picatta was amazing. So flavorful. The server was attentive and very friendly . Can't wait to try some pasta

Got here, waited 10 minutes at the front door and the hostess wouldn’t even acknowledge us.(skinny long black hair) I finally said something about putting our name on the list. Nothing but pure attitude, then continued to give me dirty looks throughout the duration of our dinner. We waited 25 minutes for a table. They threw garlic bread on the table then it took another 10 minutes for a waitress to even come to the table; she took our drink and food order. It took probably another 15 minutes to even get our drinks and even longer for the salads that came with our meals. We ordered our food (a table of two) and the table of 6 that ordered after us got their food first.. we sat at our table for probably close to a hour and still did not get our dinners. When we finally got our food, my boyfriend’s Alfred appeared as if it was reheated in the microwave (was dry). This is absolutely horrible service. The food isn’t worth the wait or the price. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had in this restaurant. The hostess really needs to fix her attitude. Extremely off putting for the whole atmosphere. Will not be returning anytime soon.

I love to eat here and their food is very good. However they refuse to Seat you if you're 2 minutes after 9:00. I've experienced this 3 times. 3 strikes , their out. So many other great Italian restaurants that aren't so out of the way to patronize.
