Having been raised in a land with many Indian restaurants and having visited India on many occasions I have always lamented the shortage of good Indian food in Switzerland. But now, a 5-10 minute taxi ride out of Bern centre, Kesar provides not just authentic,...but also extremely good, Indian food. They have a wide range and, equally important, a very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend a visit read more.

The restaurant and its rooms are wheelchair accessible and thus usable with a wheelchair or physical disabilities, and there is no-charge WLAN. If the weather are right, you can also eat and drink outside.

What HC-Zurich doesn't like about Kesar GmbH:
This restaurant as a surprisingly nice interior with many seating options (see pictures). However it is located pretty far outside the city and doesn't have too many vegan options.
