What Randall H dislikes about Mishba Berlin:
This spot is just Mexican-ish in my opinion (and I eat a LOT of Mexican food). It's more of a California-style burrito joint, where you can choose what goes inside your tortilla. In order to avoid the gluten of a wheat tortilla (always standard for burritos) I ordered soft tacos with carnitas, and they were tasty but had too many ingredients inside--I should have skipped the beans which sort of gummed it all up, but... Their burritos are too damn delicious! I loved every bit of it. The make your own burrito option is a super useful to customise a burrito to your taste. I had the veggie burrito with fajita veggies instead of beans.

I'll admit it. As a native San Franciscan, I came here for the San Francisco map mural, and not the burritos. I tend to turn my nose up at burritos on the East Coast so I was a little wary about this German hipster burrito joint's proud proclamation that they served Mission style burritos. Quick burrito snob analysis: First of all, the burrito was wrapped in butcher paper, not aluminum foil, which immediately refuted Dolores's claim of authenticity. The salsa is strangely sweet, and when I recounted this observation to an American expat, she said it was probably derived from the infamous German curry ketchup. And the mysterious green rice (which is apparently basmati rice with fresh cilantro and lime juice, according to another Yelp review threw me off completely. Still, when it boils down to it, Dolores is just a healthier version of Chipotle (c'mon, iceberg lettuce in a burrito? with a plethora of vegan options to appease any friend you bring here. And they have Anchor Steam beer for sale, which definitely appeases this San Franciscan. It won't be the greatest burrito you'll ever eat, but it won't be the worst. The €6.50 Easy Chicken burrito is delicious, though a bit light on the cheese according to Mission style burrito standards. You can also create your own burrito à la Chipotle. And on the plus side, it's always easy to find a seat here! It's worth a visit for the decor (again, biased and the novelty factor of a burrito in Berlin, but you should really be stuffing your face with a döner instead because god knows you'll have a hard time finding an authentic döner back in the States...

I just visited this place today. They had a variety of food and vegan options. I had the vegan lover burrito. I wish they had a more variety of drinks/beverages. I will come back!

Great Mexican(well, really more Californian-Mexican) place in the center of Berlin. You never could go wrong with burrito for lunch!
