What User dislikes about Thomas Street Fish Shop:
I went into this fish shop to buy a hamburger and a bottle of soft drink, when I was told that the 2 litre bottle of soft drink was $6.80, I said to the owner, isn't that a bit expensive for a 2 litre soft drink? his reply was, "if you don't like it go somewhere else" so that's exactly what I did, apparently this guy needs some customer service training View all feedback.
A night off from cooking. The café offered a large variety of fish which was cooked while you waited. The chips were some of the best!

Popped in and found the shop to be clean and staff friendly. Fish had a Crisp batter and chips were crunchy. Happy to return. Also partner had the burger and had no problems wanting another when I revisited the cafe. Quite Australian, they were offering a Texas burger as a special and also fat cut chips were on the menu for a special time. They had South Melbourne spring rolls? available (thought I think they meant the famous dim sims? - mistake? Tables available outside and good selection of drinks
Very good selection of items to order, staff very friendly and the shop was clean. Table and chairs are available outside on the footpath which makes it easy for a quick eat and run.
