A group of friends went there for lunch last Friday and had a great time . The renovations are good , the staff friendly and helpful especially Krissie on the front receptions. There are a good range of lunches starting from Roast meal $5 and the a la carte menu for lunch is $10. All the meals were very nice and service very efficient. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Beenleigh Bowls & Recreation Club:
Food wasn't great quality by any means but I appreciate that they offered a wide range of food. Enthusiastic singer kept the music going during the evening and staff were friendly. Probably not a bad option for families with picky eaters. View all feedback.
Frequent patrons, aging musicians, vintage slot machines, and a dining area that hasn't been updated since the 1970s - what more could you ask for in a local bowling club!

This was our first visit to this club and it won't be our last, the food was pleasant enough and good variety, but I believe a little over priced. The entertainment was top notch ( Saturday 27th May ) but unfortunately the clientele was not really involved with the music, more into watching the TVs that were on all around the club. The reception lady was very friendly and very good at her job, she explained how the club operates and gave us all the information we needed and we felt welcomed. We shall go back again but perhaps not regularly due to the food being a bit overpriced. My honest review.
Well, I tried their buffet dinner again, just to make sure I wasn't too harsh in my comments the last time. No, I wasn't!! It was even worse this time! Same price, $24.99 for members, but this time only half the choice! It was last Tuesday evening, May 9th. Lots of prawns (they looked as though they'd been out a long time) and nobody was eating them, 2 roast meats, again possibly the previous night's left overs. A choice of 'bullet peas' and 'none peeled' carrots (tough outside), greasy cheese sauced ? potatoes, lumpy, skin topped gravy, no Chinese style foods, plus limp salads and other 'none exciting ' things ( fish, I think). Desserts same old same old, jelly, mousse, fresh fruit ( looked as sad as prawns), ice-cream. What are we paying $25 a head for, provide half the choices, charge half the price! Stop using the excuse that ' it's $25 because of the prawns' !!!! Let those who want prawns pay for the privilege and give the rest of us value for money, charge $15.00 maximum, give us value for money and increase the number of covers you do! There were only 10 people eating at the same time I was there. Greater turnover is how to grow business not higher prices. You are a lovely social gathering club NOT a 5 star hotel or Michelin restaurant! You need a re-think
