The local restaurant, known for its Salvadorian cuisine, is definitely worth a visit despite some inconsistencies. The flavorful chicken dishes and generously portioned plates come at affordable prices. While some guests experienced communication issues with the staff, most found the service to be friendly and accommodating. The authentic flavors of the food were praised, making it a great option for those looking to try something new and affordable in town. Overall, the establishment is a solid choice for those seeking tasty Salvadorian fare in Baton Rouge, with a few minor hiccups to consider.

My dining experience, well our server spoke little English, could not tell us when asked what was on the taco, he didn't understand but he had a nice smile. The food looked very good worth every penny until I tasted it. It has really very little taste even the pico de Gallo was lacking the basic taste of cilantro lime and my tacos they weren't to my liking. It seems like the meat wasn't a high quality a little chewy and no flavor except the salt I added we were not givena lemon or lime, the bean were good I enjoyed them... I may revisit again, but not any time soon.

Excellent food at an affordable price. If you're ever nostalgic about Central American food then look no further. The baleadas are a great breakfast plate and the tamales are a good filler in case you're still hungry. The food is served quickly with excellent service. Must go.

This is the best food in Baton Rouge, no joke. It is so delicious and the tortillas are so soft and fresh... I just love it. You can get the best queen of your life here for very cheap.

I had La Salvadorena for the first time, and I ordered her chicken with Plantain Slice- it was DELICIOUS!! Definitely on my list for a Cheat Meal Spot!

Amazing! Authenticity! Good. We own a taco truck in Natchitoches La. La casa del taco. We always go out our way to swim here
