Drusilla's has garnered mixed feedback, with visitors expressing a range of experiences regarding its seafood offerings and service. While many laud the ambiance and friendly staff, others are disappointed with the food's inconsistency, particularly in flavor and preparation. Dishes such as the Steak Drusilla and grilled chicken pasta have faced criticism for lacking taste, while popular items like the gumbo and seafood platters received uneven reviews. Service issues, including long waits and forgotten orders, have also been noted. Despite these concerns, some patrons cherish their meals, leaving room for growth as the restaurant navigates guest expectations.

The Grilled Chicken Pasta was lacking in sauce and flavor. The Kid's Combo Plate, which included shrimp and catfish, also fell short on taste. The Catfish Po-Boy and French fries were just average.

Thank goodness they have remained opened during the pandemic. They are short staffed; however, the waitstaff veterans have hung in there with them. Service is slow and seemingly confusing, but when you get whatever you ordered your aggravation from the wait rapidly dissipates. The food is very delicious; as delicious as ever. Be prepared that some items like oysters, soft shell crab may not be available due to supply issues.
